Самый желанный трюфель в мире. Данный гриб обладает гладкой внешней оболочкой. Цвет снаружи – бледно-бежевый, бледно-желтый, а иногда охристого или оливково-зеленого оттенка. Мякоть трюфеля может быть белесой, желтовато-розовой или охристо-коричневой, с многочисленными белыми тонкими прожилками. У данного трюфеля интенсивный и сложный аромат. Смесь ферментированного сыра, лука-шалота и земли. Magnatum Pico обладает очень сильным маслянистым вкусом с нотками специй вплоть до голубых сыров. Данный гриб употребляют в пищу только сырым. Он идеально подойдет для пасты, омлета, мясного тартар, фондю, ризотто и многого другого.
